TERMS OF SERVICE

Please read these terms carefully before using Biblical Battle Plans. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them.

ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

Biblical Battle Plans (the "Service") is the website at www.biblicalbattleplans.com and the Biblical Battle Plans iOS app. It is operated by ShirePath Solutions LLC ("we" or "us"). By accessing or using the Service you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE

Biblical Battle Plans is an RPG-themed Bible reading tracker. It includes:

  • Reading plans, daily progress, streaks and streak shields.
  • Experience points, levels and achievements.
  • Guilds: groups with a leaderboard, an activity feed, a guild chat and prayer requests.
  • A private reading journal. You choose whether to share a reflection with a guild.
  • Optional daily disciplines (sidequests).
  • A church calendar and a daily verse.
  • Optional push notification reminders.

The Service is free. We may add, change or remove features at any time.

ELIGIBILITY

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Service only with the permission of a parent or guardian, who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.

YOUR ACCOUNT

You can create an account with an email address and password, by signing in with Google, or with Sign in with Apple. One account works on the website and in the iOS app. You are responsible for:

  • Keeping your password and devices secure.
  • All activity that occurs under your account.
  • Providing accurate information when you sign up.
  • Telling us promptly about any unauthorized use of your account.

USER CONTENT

User content is anything you add that other people can see: your display name and username, guild names and descriptions, chat messages, prayer requests and prayer reactions, and journal reflections you share to a guild.

You keep ownership of your content. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store it, process it and show it to the members of the guilds where you post it, only to operate the Service. The license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for the moderation records and backups described in our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for what you post and confirm that you have the right to post it.

ZERO TOLERANCE FOR OBJECTIONABLE CONTENT

There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users on the Service. You may not post:

  • Hate speech, slurs, or attacks on any person or group.
  • Harassment, bullying, threats or intimidation.
  • Sexually explicit or pornographic material.
  • Graphic violence or encouragement of self-harm.
  • Spam, scams or unsolicited advertising.
  • Another person's private information, or content that impersonates someone else.
  • Anything unlawful.

The Service filters some offensive words automatically. When you block a user, their messages and activity no longer appear for you, and the block is private: the other user is not told.

We review every report within 24 hours, whether you file it on a chat message, guild or member or send it by email to conner@shirepathsolutions.com. When content breaks these Terms, we remove it and suspend the account of the user who posted it.

ACCEPTABLE USE

You also agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
  • Use automated means to access the Service without our permission.
  • Create accounts to get around a suspension or a block.

DISCIPLINES ARE NOT MEDICAL ADVICE

The optional disciplines feature lets you track daily goals such as exercise, prayer or fasting. It is a habit tracker only. Nothing in the Service is medical, health, fitness or nutritional advice. Talk to a qualified professional before you start an exercise or fasting routine, and stop if you feel unwell. You set your own goals and are responsible for them.

Scripture quotations in the church calendar, the verse of the day and elsewhere in the Service are from the ESV® Bible (The Holy Bible, English Standard Version®), © 2001 by Crossway, a publishing ministry of Good News Publishers. Used by permission. All rights reserved. The ESV text is shown under Crossway's quotation permission and may not be copied out of the Service except as Crossway's own terms allow.

A verse on the sign-up page is quoted from the King James Version, which is in the public domain in the United States. Reading plans name Bible passages as citations only; the Service does not reproduce those passages.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The Service, including its design, code, graphics and branding, is the property of ShirePath Solutions LLC or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works of the Service without our written permission. Fonts, software libraries and artwork from others are used under their licenses, listed on our Acknowledgements page.

THE IOS APP AND APPLE

If you download the iOS app from the App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the standard EULA) governs your license to use the app, together with these Terms. In addition:

  • These Terms are between you and ShirePath Solutions LLC, not Apple. We, not Apple, are responsible for the app and its content.
  • Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app.
  • Apple is not responsible for any product claims, intellectual property claims, or warranty claims about the app.
  • Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you as they relate to the app.

DISCLAIMERS

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

Biblical Battle Plans is a reading tracker. It is not a substitute for personal Bible study, pastoral guidance, or theological education.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ShirePath Solutions LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you have paid us, if any, in the twelve months before the claim.

TERMINATION

You can delete your account at any time from your profile on the website or in the iOS app. Deletion takes effect immediately, as described in our Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms, including after a report. When your account is suspended or ends, your right to use the Service ends with it.

CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms. We will post the new version on this page and change the "Last updated" date. When a change is significant, we may ask you to accept the updated Terms before you continue to use the Service.

GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Tennessee.
